Preventive care for gearboxes and differentials
You do not have to wait for noise to consider wear protection. EX120 for manual transmissions is intended for suitable, mechanically serviceable manual gearboxes and differentials as well as wear-related concerns.
Confirm the exact component, lubricant specification and oil capacity. Use the dose and full treatment cycle on the supplied label; check the differential separately from the gearbox or transfer case. Continue normal servicing. An additive does not replace diagnosis or repair of a damaged component.
Electric and hybrid gear-oil components
EX120 for gearboxes and reducers may be considered for an electric or hybrid reduction gearbox or differential using compatible gear oil. Confirm the exact component, fluid and supplied label. Do not assume suitability for ATF, dedicated e-drive fluids or shared motor-cooling circuits. Use this component’s oil capacity for dosing.

Manual gearbox noise or difficult gear changes?
A noisy manual gearbox, differential whine or hard gear shifting needs the cause checked first. Confirm the lubricant specification and oil level. This EX120 gearbox additive is intended for serviceable gears and bearings; it cannot repair broken gears or failed bearings.
Is this the same as an automatic transmission additive?
No. This product is for manual gearboxes, transfer cases and differentials. For an automatic transmission or CVT, check the separate EX120 Automatic Transmission product and its compatibility guidance.

Application
Ensure the syringe is at room temperature so the contents flow freely. Empty out the contents of the syringe into the transmission fluid filler neck of a gear box, transfer case or differential (see the Table)

- A decrease in mechanism’ noise level from the very first hour of operation is a sign that the revitalization process has begun
- If improvement in mechanism' operation disappears, it indicates substantial wear of the unit – in this case the dosage should be doubled
- If there is no improvement in operation after 100-200 km (approx. 60-120 miles), you are most likely dealing with inaccurate diagnostics
- Revitalizant is compatible with all types of oils for mechanical transmissions. It doesn’t enter in chemical reactions with them and doesn’t change their viscosity and other physical-chemical properties
- The protective metal-ceramic coating is formed on any operative mechanism, however, if the state of the unit is critical (100% wear), the destroyed parts should be replaced
